I m so pleased to announce that Baby in Hand has sold for $7,800.00!!!!!
This art quilt has a new home is with a pediatrician who will hang her in her office to welcome all of the newborns into this world.

The quilt was made using thread painting.  The image of the baby is covered entirely in thread.  The background is free motion embroidery. 

Pacific West Quilt Show Entries thread painting by Jennifer Day

Baby in Hand will be in the Pacific West Quilt Show in August.  This Quilt won the Juror's Choice Award at the Schweinforth in January 2012.

Hot Day Cool Water is a quilt of my 9 year old son drinking water in a mountain stream in Durango Colorado on a hot day.
